"Plank style is where I started. It's also why I named my studio 'Evolution of Form' because it implies motion by juxtaposing vertical striping with lateral variation."

plank style technique

The plank style is very labor-intensive. Each piece needs to not only be carefully cut, it needs to be matched perfectly to surrounding pieces. "The Minotaur Hunts" took 8,000 hours to complete.
